Promotion includes game-day no-sweat bets through the season and $250 FanCash when new customers wager $50 on Bill Belichick’s collegiate debut

Fanatics Sportsbook is rolling out a matchup-specific onboarding offer and a season-long game-day safety net for new customers as the NFL and college football seasons begin.

The sportsbook said new users in qualifying states who wager $50 on Monday’s Week 1 college game between the North Carolina Tar Heels and the TCU Horned Frogs will receive $250 in FanCash. The UNC game is notable because it marks Bill Belichick’s collegiate coaching debut and the Tar Heels enter as home underdogs.

Separately, Fanatics said it will offer new users a no-sweat bet on each game day through the NFL and college football seasons, returning up to $100 in FanCash per game day for more than 20 gamedays. FanCash is credited to users’ Fanatics accounts and can be redeemed for bonus bets, casino credits or merchandise across the Fanatics ecosystem.

The $250 FanCash offer for the UNC–TCU game and the game-day no-sweat bets are available only to new customers in specified jurisdictions, including Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, Vermont, West Virginia and Wyoming. Fanatics said sign-ups in New York will face a lower limit on the no-sweat first bet, capped at $25.

To claim the promotion, Fanatics directs new customers to select their bonus offer, choose their state of residence, and complete standard account registration and verification steps. The company did not disclose an exact end date for the season-long game-day returns beyond the reference to more than 20 qualifying gamedays.

The offers reflect a broader industry trend of sportsbooks using targeted promotions and credits to attract first-time users and encourage early-season engagement. Fanatics has expanded its cross-platform rewards program by tying betting credits to its wider retail and gaming ecosystem, allowing promotional credits to be spent on merchandise as well as bets.

Regulators and consumer advocates have increasingly scrutinized promotional practices in the sports-betting industry, focusing on disclosure, responsible-gaming safeguards and state-by-state limits. Fanatics’ state-specific caps and the lower New York limit align with differing regulatory frameworks across jurisdictions.

Customers should review terms and conditions, including wagering requirements and eligibility rules, before registering. The sportsbook’s offers are subject to state laws and availability, and promotion details may change.
